This is actually good news because just as you had the power to create them, you also have the power to remove them.
Here is a short overview of what you ideally need to do each week if you really are serious about getting rid of man boobs.
The first thing you’ll need to do is start an exercise regime. This needs to include five exercise sessions per week. They do not all have to be at the gym and they do not all have to be the same exercise. Variety will keep you motivated and prevent you from giving up.
At least three of the sessions however should be cardio-vascular activities i.e. running brisk walking, swimming etcetera and these sessions should be of at least 30 minutes in length. Of course consult your doctor before taking on any exercise program and if you haven’t exercised for a while certainly start with a brisk walk rather than hard running. As you get more and more sessions under your belt you can push yourself for longer sessions working out harder too.
The best workout for getting rid of man boobs is interval training. You can do this when running, walking or cycling, it is when you push yourself really hard for a minute or two and then jog for a minute to recover, you then run hard for another minute or two depending on your fitness and then jog to recover again. This type of training really burns off the calories and is fantastic for cardio-vascular fitness.
Two workouts per week should also include weight training. Pumping iron will add more muscle mass to your body. This is good for weight loss as not only is weight training very stressful and uses up lots of calories on its own, it also adds muscle to your body which means that it raises your metabolic rate (how fast your body burns calories). This is because muscle needs to be fed nutrients by your body which means using up more calories!
Including exercise such as the bench press and the pec-deck/dumbbell flyes will firm up and fill out the upper chest region and perhaps reduce the wobbling. Bent over rows and lateral pull downs will also strengthen and broaden the back muscles which again may stretch the flab at the front and reduce the look of the man boobs.
However, the number one thing you need to remember is that as well as exercising you have to eat properly too. Avoiding junk food and eating smaller more regular nutritional meals will ensure that you are using more calories than you are consuming each day which is known as creating a calorie deficit and this is what you need to be doing if you are really serious about getting rid of man boobs. You see, you cannot lose fat just from your chest area, you have to lose it from all parts of your body and then your man boobs will also naturally be reduced, there is no way around this.
