How To Lose A Double Chin

2. Open your mouth as far as you possibly can and pull your lower lip over your front teeth as far as you can. Tilt your head backwards and then make a scooping motion with your lower jaw.

3. Thirdly, in a normal upright position place the palm of one of your hands across your forehead. Now push against this using your neck muscles pushing against resistance provided by your hand. Your head ought not to be moving but you will feel tension all around your neck and in the muscles.

Excess bodyfat is most commonly caused by an excess balance of calories being consumed on a daily basis. This basically means that the energy that you are expending each day through your day to day activities is not as much as the calories that you are ingesting. These excess calories then get stored in the body as fat deposits.

These fat deposits are disposed of around the body in places such as: the waist line, the bum, underarm area and the chin area. Now, different people put fat on in different areas and different orders, which is genetically predetermined. For example, one person might first put on weight around the thighs, then the waistline then the chin area and then the underarm area.

The key to remember is that you can remove the fat but only in the reverse order to that which it went on. So, in this situation you would need to get rid of the under arm fat before the double chin started reducing. It is just the way that it works. The above exercises will of course help strengthen those neck muscles which can help draw in the double chin and make it look better but to lose the double chin fat you are going to have to impose some sort of weight loss routine on yourself.
